Jewelry Classroom is a practical and educational collection in which the processes and techniques used in jewelry are shown, in a detailed and very visual way. The content, rigorous and current, is accompanied by a large number of images and drawings that help clarify each of the processes shown. In this volume, dedicated to metal techniques, the bases of some techniques that constitute true crafts are explained, such as enamel, chiseling or gem setting. Current techniques such as the application of images on metal or the application of paints as a form of surface finish are also shown. In the last part of the book, step-by-step examples are offered of how to put into practice some of the processes explained in the first chapters.

This work explains with rigor and clarity the main processes of cabinetmaking, carving and work on the lathe, marquetry and the restoration of wooden objects and furniture. Articulated as a practical manual, it constitutes a detailed guide to develop the different woodworking processes. The first chapter shows the most common woods and explains their main characteristics, as well as the materials and tools necessary to develop each technique. The following four chapters correspond to the different disciplines. They show in detail the particular technical aspects of each one, as well as the practice, explained step by step, where four exercises are offered with the complete creation process, from the project to the finished work, and the restoration, establishing a sequence to progress in the fundamental aspects of woodworking.

This book covers the fundamental processes of wood carving, both direct carving and reproduction from a model. Explained with rigor and clarity, the theoretical principles and praxis of this art are shown. In this sense, new features are provided such as the medina method of enlargement, apart from other reproduction systems such as scoring points, explained in detail. The work, however, essentially offers the practical aspect of wood carving, exposing in eleven step-by-step exercises the complete creation process, from the project to the finished work, establishing a sequence to progress in the most important aspects of this artistic discipline.
